As I embarked on the journey of creating my website, “My Real Blogging Lab,” I found myself brainstorming of the logo idea. This page was my third page I create, following the “About Me” and “Privacy Policy” sections.
Today, I want to share with you the thought story behind the logo, its design, and the colors that represent my blogging journey.
It’s not a strategic topic, but makes me motivated.
By the way, the original logo was not this logo. Perhaps this is the fourth logo that I came up with, but the new one I like it is simplicity and colors.
The Logo Idea
The logo needed to encapsulate the essence of blogging and my ongoing experiments. I wanted it to reflect the learning, growth, and challenges I encounter during my blogging adventure.
The Logo Shape
The logo comprises two distinct elements, each nested within the other:
- The Pen: Symbolizing the act of blogging itself. Just as the pen represents writing and creating content, my blog is about generating ideas, experiences, and connecting with readers.
- The Experiment Lab Bottle: This represents my journey, Inside the bottle! I collect my experiences, face difficulties, make mistakes, and gather valuable advice. It’s a vessel of learning and growth.
The Logo Color Story
The Original Light Blue
When I first started, I chose a light blue color for the logo. It felt fresh and inviting, like a clear sky on a sunny day. But as I delved deeper into designing my first post, I stumbled upon an image with a captivating color.
The New Main Logo Color: #316161
This color became the heart of my logo. But come to my mind what does it represent? Let’s explore the color palette behind it:
The Color Palette:
- Green: Symbolizes new beginnings, abundance, and the natural world. It’s the color of growth and fresh starts.
- Blue: Calmness and responsibility. Blue evokes trust and stability, which aligns perfectly with my commitment to providing reliable content.
- Red: Passion and love. My dedication to helping visitors with their journey burns brightly, fueled by the passion to make a difference.
The Site Purpose
Behind these colors lies a tapestry of emotions and purpose. “My Real Blogging Lab” exists to guide and support visitors as they embark on their own new beginnings, To build successful blogs.
It’s my responsibility to share knowledge, offer clarity, and infuse every interaction with passion.
Thank you for joining me on this creative journey!
Basil.
